Review 2010

Talent, panache and calm are the watchwords of this must-see event.

The International Confectionery Art Competition is a truly fantastic contest which is perfectly suited to the Europain & Intersuc show. In just two editions, it has earned its status as an unmissable event for all visitors, irrespective of their industry sector.

It is an intense and difficult contest which took place in a calm atmosphere nevertheless.

Olivier Journet, Marketing Director of the company DGF, who organized the competition with his team on behalf of the Association of Confectionery Art and DGF offered his verdict: this edition took place in a wonderfully stress-free atmosphere which was far better than the very first edition. The teams were in a Very positive state of mind, favoured by the organizer’s decision to treat the competitors for the duration of their stay during the competition, provide an interpreter where necessary and house them in shared accommodation for the week preceding the event in order to encourage team spirit, despite the fact that they are competing against one another.

An exceptional and very unusual strategy.

Which resulted in an atmosphere of mutual respect, conviviality and a great sense of fairplay… reflecting the state of mind cultivated by the company DGF.

The prize-winners for this second edition of the competition were:
